Blood Covenant
In the late seventies, KGB Chairman and some day General Party Secretary Andropov
commissions the creation of suitcase-size nuclear weapons. Originally, the weapons are designed as
a terror weapon, but in light of a failing Soviet Afghan invasion and western resolve to match the
Soviet arms race, Andropov orders the weapons deployed in Western Europe, Japan and America.
His intention is to blackmail the West.
Six months later, Andropov dies and his secrets die with him.
The Soviet Empire crumbles; the Cold War ends and the weapons are forgotten until today. A
terrorist known only as Harlequin launches a determined campaign to bomb Washington, New
York, Boston and Chicago.
The threat catapults Special Forces Major Jim Harper and spymaster
Louis Edwards into a desperate race against time to prevent the unthinkable from happening.
